The agreement when you buy — short, and in plain English.

Who you are buying from

this store pieces are sold and fulfilled by SEWN, which handles production, shipping and support on this store’s behalf. When you email support, a person at SEWN answers.

These terms apply to every order placed on this store. Buying means you accept them.

Made to order

Every piece is embroidered to order. Nothing is sitting in a warehouse — yours gets made for you. Your order is an order to make something, which is why the returns rules on the Shipping & Returns page are what they are.

Editions

Each piece is a numbered run capped at 100 per colourway. The number you are allocated is shown at checkout and printed on your confirmation. When a run is finished it is finished; we do not quietly reopen it.

Editions are held for you only while your checkout is open. If you abandon payment, the number is released back into the run — that is how the next person is not blocked by an unfinished cart.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and include shipping. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Nothing is produced until payment clears. If a payment fails, your order stays open so you can try again — we do not silently cancel it.

Sales tax is calculated at checkout on the address your order ships to, by Stripe Tax, and is shown as a separate line before you pay. Where we are registered to collect in your state it is added to the price; where we are not, no tax is added. The amount charged appears on your confirmation and on your tracking page.

If a price or a product detail is wrong through an obvious error on our side, we will contact you before making anything, and you can cancel for a full refund.

Colour, and what a photograph can and cannot tell you

Garment shades are the manufacturer’s real colours and screens vary. The colour name on the product is the shade actually being embroidered. A reasonable difference between your screen and the cloth is not a defect — a wrong shade sent is, and that we fix.

Intellectual property

The this store marks embroidered on these pieces belong to this store. Buying a piece does not give you a licence to reproduce the mark.

Liability

If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is to replace the piece or refund what you paid for it. We are not liable beyond that. Nothing here removes rights you have under US consumer law that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
